Etsy fees for sellers in Australia (2026)

Australia has two details that catch sellers out: a domestic/international processing split (3% + A$0.25 vs 4% + A$0.25), and 10% GST added on Etsy's own fees unless you're GST-registered. No regulatory operating fee for AU. Verified Sep 15, 2026.

The domestic/international split

Etsy charges Australian sellers 3% + A$0.25 when the buyer is in Australia, and 4% + A$0.25 for international buyers. If a large share of your orders ship overseas, your effective processing rate is a full point higher — the calculator has an "international order" toggle for exactly this. Selling to the US from AU also triggers the 2.5% currency conversion fee if your listings are in AUD but payout in a different currency setup.
